"Ons C Huis is in a great location with wonderful views over the bay. It is in a very secure location, and has everything you need to enjoy your time at leisure. Waking up in the morning and opening the blinds to see the sea views was great, as was watching the sun setting from the deck. You can park your car on the drive or in the garage. Gansbaai has a superspar supermarket or you can shop at Woolworths or Pick 'n Pay in Hermanus before continuing to Gansbaai."

"Great service!! The view can’t be beaten on a good day - we were fortunate to see Whales even during the off season. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the building history. The co-owners are so accommodating and assisted me with ease when I’d booked on the wrong date via a third-party website. They were kind enough to include a free upgrade too. WiFi was steady, bed was extremely large and very comfortable "

"This was a quick stop to our Great White Diving excursion! The place was perfect, big kitchen, big fridge, big everything. The apartment has a place to good braai and heated beds when it is cold. There is a tube and shower. Hot water is great. The area is safe and nice. Few good restaurants around the area, but we preferred to eat in since it was so nice. Check in was great, there is a gated entrance where you can leave the car. Highly recommended! "

"The marketing information visible on website is not accurate at all. Upon our arrival in Franskraal it became immediately obvious so we spoke to the host and we agreed that there would be no cost to us if we decided to leave. We left within an hour feeling very disappointed"

"We stayed 3 nights in the Grootbos and spent an unforgettable time there. Everything was perfect. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The walks and the safari drive with the guide Tiaan were fantastic. Our cottage ( Nr.24 ) was great. The food was delicious. We hope really to come back soon. A big thank to the whole Grootbos Team for the wonderful stay."
