Very comfortable room with sofa, and great view over Rusheen Bay from upstairs bedroom. Excellent breakfast.
Directions to Guest House could be better. The sign 'Rusheen Bay Guesthouse' is not clear from the road, and the address given is confusing. It is not apparent that 'Cashelmara' in not a road, but a small housing estate. No road address is given in the Expedia description. It took us a while to find the place.
While the accommodation is slightly outside the city centre, this turned out to be a positive - we were able to see parts of Galway while walking which we would never have seen otherwise. The staff are lovely and conscientious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
This property is quaintly situated with an ocean’s view. I was sent an email by the owner before arriving with detailed instructions and helpful information. I took a 15 minute can that cost about 13 Euro. You can also take bus 402a. Upon entering the home I was greeted by the owner. The room was beautiful. Towels and chocolates laid out on the bed. Salt Hill is absolutely beautiful. About a 1/2 hr walk to the promenade. I would seriously consider moving to this beautiful part of the country.
Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Le lieu est magnifique, les chambres sont très propres et très jolies. Le personnel est très agréable. Nous recommandons ce logement.
This is a beautiful place but inconvenient without a car to wait on the bus and it drops you a 15-20 minute walk from there. Also $15 euro to the train station via taxi so city center may be easier for some also breakfast is $10 euro so not included but huge and delicious
This B and B is directly across the street from Rusheen Bay--part of Galway Bay and is an easy and fast taxi or bus ride from city center. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, including traditional Irish and beautiful rooms. I would definitely stay here again.
This is a beautifully decorated and well-maintained B & B, but a B & B where you have to pay extra for breakfast! When we first arrived early afternoon, the whole building was VERY HOT; then at night the radiator shut off and there was no heat! Of course, the rooms are small, which is fine; what I should state again for future travelers is that Rusheen Bay House is a B & B that asks for extra for breakfast!
Nice size room. Excellent views of the bay, but is across a road. Love the big orange house cat.
Had a mixup on breafast times first morning, but worked it out with Patrick by next morning. A car is good to have, since it is on edge of town.
Loved it! Fair price for nice accommodations. Great inclusive breakfast. Beautiful location across from the sea. A little far out — about 15 minutes walk to main part of Salthill and about 40 minutes walk from city center of Galway
RushenBay is a very nice B&B near Galway bay. We had a large double room on the third floor with a huge bathroom. We loved the location -near but not in busy Galway and close drive to nearby sites. Spent one day seeing cliffs of Moher, Aran islands, and the Burren and another day seeing Connemara with all its beautiful scenery and a couple of historic abbeys. Our room was great, service was great, and breakfast each day was delicious!!
What a lovely spot, with a vew over Galway Bay! Lovely room in a very nice house with public areas both indoors and out, very comfortable with room to stretch! Very close to good walking trails with fabulous sea views. Cab fare to Galway was about 12 euros each way, host was very helpful with hints on where to go in Galway. There was a bus not far away but we chose to use cabs. Wish we had longer here, this was a relaxing spot. Also, awesome breakfast and the best coffee of all of our stays in Ireland!
We were scheduled to stay in the attic room which was lovely. Ann actually took us over to her other B&B The Atlantic Lodge because the weather was so hot. Both rooms were great!

Beautiful B&B with a nice view great place to spend our first night in Ireland
Typical weather for this time of year. Not too far to walk to the beach and diving board. Excellent place to stay not too far away from the hustle of Galway and the beaches
