Right across from the beach There parking garage was across the street and the elevators didn't work so you had to haul your luggage up and down the stairs if you parked on the upper level. And parking was not free

Residence Inn by Marriott Galveston Island
Extremely clean, which is priority number 1. Very happy with how well kept it is. Only disappointing thing is that there is a coin operated laundromat there, no credit cards accepted, yet there is not a change machine, so you have to go find and bring your own change. Gaido's Seaside Inn
My room was in the older section, and yes it showed some age, but it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It overlooked the parking lot, but was for the most part very quiet. There was a area you could walk over to and sit and watch the beach area.
