"We've just come back from an absolutely lovely short stay at the Cliffden, primarily to visit local friends but also for a bit of relaxing family time. The hotel itself and grounds are gorgeous with helpful, generous staff. Our room was basic but a good size and had everything we needed, we missed out on a Seaview and would definitely request that next time. The pool and easy access to town through the gardens really made the stay but we also really enjoyed the restaurant with exceptional staff...

"Staff are very helpful and friendly, lots to do for children. Next to the beach and a cliff walk down to Amusements, rides arcade and Restaurant. Parking is in front of Hotel. Room has everything you need. Tea coffee biscuits etc Netflix and sky sports. We enjoyed our week very much"

"The van was very clean and bedding was fresh. Towels were provided which was nice. The TV had apps like Netflix and prime on which was good. There were plenty of cooking utensils and trays/pans. The heating was easy to use and warmed up very quickly.The Indoor pool is warm and clean. The staff in Amelia's cafe were friendly. We would go again "

"What a lovely place! Spotless, well appointed room with simple, fresh decor. Bathroom also nicely done, with fabulous fluffy towels. Breakfast was super tasty with a great selection of options. And the hosts are really lovely; helpful and friendly without being overly attentive. Not far from either Torquay and Torre stations so great for those not using a car, though parking was also available. Highly recommend and will be staying again next time I’m down in Torquay."
