"Overall it is a decent stay. I enjoyed the onsen, breakfast, and how big the rooms are. It is located right by gora station which makes it easier to travel. Walking distance from the open air museum, plenty of low key restaurants, and day-use onsens. There is a bit of noise in early morning & night since it’s on a busy street."

"After spending 18 days in various hostels around Japan, and hundreds of days around the world, this one had been my absolute favorite. The best sleep I have gotten on my trip and the breakfast was an amazing treat. Walking distance to most sights."

"We enjoyed everything in this nice hotel. Different breakfast and dinner each day, a lot of options.
Very nice onsen with outdoor area. Yukatas provided by hotel emphasized the overall atmosphere. Stunning view of Mt. Fuji - if weather allows."

"I liked the friendly staff. The style of the house is really nice. The only thing I didn’t like was that the washer and dryer is outdated and the washer only uses cold water for the price I paid it is expensive."

"Luxurious, immersive and a refreshing stay that will never be forgotten. I didn’t want to check out. This will be my goto Hakone getaway spot for decades to come."
"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mystays Fuji. The room was nice, very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was definitely one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. There were so many choices and everything was delicious.
True to its name, the hotel also has an Onsen, which I was looking forward to trying. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to use it because I’m not comfortable being completely naked. I do wish the hotel would allow guests to wear a towel from the dressing room until entering the water, or provide an option for guests who may not feel comfortable being fully nude in the bathing area.
I also wish we had been able to see Mt. Fuji from the hotel, but unfortunately it wasn’t visible during our stay.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Hotel Mystays Fuji. The cleanliness, comfortable room, and especially the excellent breakfast made it a great experience."
"The hotel was relatively modern, kept in good order and had a lovely rooftop deck. The staff were very kind and it was very convenient that they spoke English which I wasn't necessarily expecting. They didn't include many amenities in the room and there was no place to get amenities except at the front desk which was closed in the late evening and early morning. It would be nice if they maybe had a little amenities counter that they left out overnight because I didn't investigate which amenities were included in the room until after the desk was closed and then I needed some things that I couldn't get. I appreciate it that breakfast was included but there were very limited options that were preset and you had to schedule your meal time ahead of time which I found kind of stressful. But that might also just be a cultural difference. I think it would be more friendly to different dietary restrictions and perhaps less logistically difficult if they just had a few self service items people could course from. They were willing to accommodate my food issues which was appreciated. These are minor issues that were really more about my personal preference than anything else. It also did seem a little more pricey than other similar properties I stayed at in the area. Although the rooms were a little larger and the property was a little more updated. It's a lovely property and staff were great. Totally a fine place to stay in the area especially if you don't have my same preferences."
"We chose the hotel as we wanted to visit the Fuji-q highland theme park. It’s a perfect location for this, right next door.
Checkin was straight forward.
Room was nice and clean, good shower and toiletries. Room had a view into the theme park.
Ate breakfast and dinner in hotel, both were good. Lots of choice and reasonably priced.
The breakfast room had an excellent view of Mt Fuji on clear days.
The hotel also has a free bus outside to get to other locations. We used it to get to the lake and ropeway area. The bus took us to the station where we joined the hop on / off bus lines."
"Vu incroyable sur le mont Fuji ! Le Bain sauna est inégalable avec sa vue époustouflante,
Complexe rétro futuriste avec son observatoire sur le mont et sa salle à dîner bien centrée sur le décor… Ne manquez pas l’excellent brunch !"
Hostels are a great way to stay for a lower cost, so you can save your budget for sightseeing.
