"The hotel was lovely, the staff was so kind and the entire property smelled like orange blossoms from the trees next to the hotel. The provided breakfast buffet was so good and fresh and the staff also offered individual dishes as well as espressos! My only "complaint" would be that the location has very limited restaurants, like only 3 and 2 of them were closed on Mondays! Bring some snacks and you will love the hotel!"

"The staff here, aside from the lovely man in the dining room for breakfast , were minimalist at best. The front desk staff were well below par. The hotel is pretty basic and the town itself doesn’t have a lot to offer - look elsewhere for a Douro experience unless you want to see the church stairs."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Quinta de la Rosa. The views over the Douro Valley are absolutely beautiful and made for a very relaxing experience. We loved the onsite restaurant and spending time at Tim’s Terrace, both of which made the most of the stunning surroundings. The wine tour and tasting were a highlight, with knowledgeable staff and excellent wines. The property was clean, quiet, and peaceful throughout our stay.
