The room was nice and roomy and we love the fireplace! Everything was mostly clean, but there's definitely some normal wear and tear that comes with a hotel that's been there awhile. The staff was fantastic!! And the breakfast was delicious. Sad the pool was closed but we enjoyed the close proximity to downtown Frederick and the myriad of restaurants and shops there, as well as right across the street in Westview.

The Residence Inn was situated in a quiet area, just a minute's walk from a shopping mall and within walking distance of several dining options. A grocery store was conveniently nearby, making it easy to pick up essentials. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.

Sheryl at the front desk was absolutely wonderful she was so welcoming and extremely pleasant and kind. Strong smell of mold mildew confirmed in 3 different rooms during our stay. Confirmed 3 weeks prior to booking that the indoor pool was open. Closed upon check-in; the only pool option was outside the hotel and you had to drive there. Front desk staff gave us attitude when 1) asking about the pool 2) asking how to access the pool alternative. The hotel providing the new pool would not provide key access. Construction surrounding the hotel is loud. Advice: there are plenty of hotels in this area. Skip this one all together. We specifically booked for our kids to have a pool and breakfast and both were a major disappointment.
