He made sure we knew where to park, asked us when we’d like breakfast, told us about the area. He’s a genuinely kind man. The place was recently renovated, with modern amenities. "
"We loved staying in this hotel with its unique history and beautiful decor. It is a special place in a wonderful location and we had fabulous views from our balcony. The walk to Morcote took under 30 minutes with lovely views but you need to wear trainers as the path is uneven. We also enjoyed walking to the castle through the vineyards and exploring lake Lugano by bus and boat. We tended to get Uber taxi’s back up to to hotel as it was a steep climb ( cost 18CHF) "
"Got 2 bedrooms and very spacious with much cleanliness. Great breakfast and nice staffs. Parking was nice and better price. Overall, great stay and recommend it for sure. If I come back to Como then I would prefer to stay here especially two bedrooms with family gives you more privacy."
"We can’t say enough about the amazing hospitality we received at Villa Constanza. The location, the building, the service were all fantastic. The tips they gave, the constant attention and help, the breakfasts — all were spectacular. They even helped us hunt down the taxi when my cellphone fell out of my pocket. I can’t say enough. We only wish we had stayed longer! It’s not easy to get around the lake, but their tips saved us!"
"Alessia's place was absoutely fantastic. The apartment itself was stunning, with gorgeous furniture and a huge, beautiful bathroom. It also had A/C which was a bonus on the hot days.
The location was perfect in the old town - steps away from a piazza full of restaurants, and only a couple of minutes walk from the lake.
The staff could not have been more helpful - they gave us loads of information and tips, which improved our holiday immensely.
If I ever go back to Como (which is likely!) than...
