"The room was spotless, warm and spacious. We opted for Deluxe room which was situated in the annexed building on ground level. The staff were extremely welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful. Plenty of storage and coat/clothes hanging space. Being in a rural spot, we found it very peaceful. A large car park is sited just across the road, which links Perth and nearby Glenfarg. "We stayed one night on a visit to Perth and this will be our go-to hotel on any future visits to the city. From the owner's welcome to the beautiful served breakfast, this hotel ticks all the boxes. Our room and bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean and the bed was large and very comfortable, There were lots of lovely touches like the welcome scones, real coffee and cafetieres - all the things that make a room feel welcoming and homely. Hot drinks available in communal area but its temperature was so low (at most 5°C) that you couldn't sit there and the china cups chilled the drink! "The Leonardo Boutique Huntingtower hotel is, unfortunately, far from boutique. The reception is ok, friendly staff, the dining room and stairway is impressive in olde-world Scottish baronial style timber and the cooked breakfast is pretty good, the continental breakfast was ok. The 3 bed Lodge was spacious for the 5 of us and equipped with the basic essentials for self-catering (dishwasher tablets, cloths, washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar sachets etc). The pool/spa was most enjoyable and open from 8am to 8pm, without the need to book, which made it very convenient to pop along whenever we wanted. "
