"Two black marks against my name on our arrival as we arrived a whole 5 mins before time - and I perched on a stool in the hallway to say hello to the dog to be told I mustn’t sit on the stool as it’s an antique!! Welcome !! The breakfast was pretty basic - and we had to pre-order the one pastry that we were entitled to - it was placed in a dish on the buffet table, but we weren’t supposed to touch it until it was served to us ... "A quiet, well-being, professional, horse loving retreat from the demands of our busy life around London. The views, room, healthy locally sourced meals and care in presentation are a delight. Highly recommended as a time for Oneself. The Spa and Salt water pool were an integral part of our relaxing time here. We will definitely be returning! "When we arrived the owner greeted us and showed us to a lovely room we had booked, we only stayed the one night en route to our holiday destination and found the room clean and very comfortable . we were given lots of local information to find a bistro in the local town of Aunay sur Odon. The breakfast was well received and presented in a pleasant manner by Thom who was charming . we will have to come again next year and well worth a visit especially for a qiuck over night and as in our case...
