"Superb location just a block away from the fames Ipanema beach. Lots of eateries within a few blocks. Metro is right next door which makes getting to Centro real easy even in heavy traffic. Staff was super helpful and cheerful. The room size is what I expect in Ipanema. Wish the bathroom is bit bigger and they should add a hand shower. I missed that after coming back from beach."

"Had a great experience at hotel Vermont. Room was clean with nice amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is great, surrounded by shops and restaurants and 2 blocks from the beach and 4 blocks from the lagoon. Definitely recommend and will stay here again next time I visit Rio."

"I booked a ocean view room but when I arrived the hotel staff provide me a handicap room on the third floor with no view to the ocean; I complained and the changed me to another room on the same floor with view to the bar and pool ... I had complained and finally got the room I paid for. Also, every single morning out of the 5 days the maintenance crew was banging and using electrical tools - I complained but no solution was offered. The area where they serve breakfast was under maintenance also...

"We absolutely loved the view from the rooftop. The hotel is right across the street from the beach and walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and attractions. The hotel was so clean and the staff were friendly. We would love to stay at Orla again."

"The staff at the hotel were fantastic and assisted us with all our needs. Even though we are English speakers we felt right at home here. The rooms are modern, with excellent views of the city (we could even see Christ the redeemer from our hotel window!). The breakfast buffet was plentiful each morning and provided us a very accessible way to get breakfast with such a busy schedule. "My second time staying and I came back because of the excellent stay I had here last time. I was again very happy with the stay, the desk staff speak English and are extremely helpful. The breakfast is fantastic and you have a choice of sooo much. Great location near the beach and behind it is a drug store, supermarket and if inclined, a McDonalds. I’m back next week and I shall stay again. Great little hotel. 5 stars."
