"Perfect location for Es Castell, short walk to the port but also very close for the bus to Mahon. Room was basic but all you need. My only comments would be in regard to check-in - details are sent by email so you need roaming/wifi to access, and (may just be my settings) was VERY small to read - could be complicated for those expecting a reception etc. Link for tourist tax payment did not work but staff were around and able to support on check out."

The property is expansive and beautifully maintained, with wild-feeling grounds, a gorgeous pool area, and walking paths that lead to the cliffs and sea in about 20 minutes. "The place is really nicely done. Five Star for the farmhouse character. We stayed 7 nights. Service failed most of the time at breakfast and for dinner. We had a friendly, but very unexperienced staff. Better you bring some resilience along with your vacation mood and just get the cutlery yourself. There are worse things in life.
