I moved from Seattle in search of a house to rent, so I stayed at this hotel from October 1, 2024 to November 2, 2024 while searching for a permanent home in Fort Wayne. I finalized the paperwork for my home on November 1, 2024, checked out of this hotel on November 2, 2024 for my new home. I wanted to thank the staff of Extended Stay Hotel for accommodating my stay, and for their help and caring during my stay. My room was clean and spacious like a studio, it comes with a mini kitchen, counter, sink and electric stove-top, a mini fridge, dining table and chairs. The heater worked excellent and kept me warm every day. Overall, I was comfortable, happy and enjoyed my stay in this hotel, and it is locating on the same street as the large shopping center on Coliseum Blvd. in Fort Wayne. Another important factor I chose this hotel, the price was affordable. Thank you so much!

Well worn/aged look to furnishings and lamps in the room (the entire facility looks run down). WiFi kept cutting out. Main door sticks badly - had to kick it open. TVs didn't work in entire place??!! TV wires clipped to wall. Bad overall paint job. Paint peeling/worn off in spots. Loose sink faucet, tub faucet, and shower head in bathroom. Rear side of bathroom door has big hole bashed in. Tub needs a good scrubbing with Comet. Shower curtain rod coming off of wall. Hot water not hot enough nor not enough pressure in shower. Mirrors in bathroom and main room hung off kilter. Full-length door mirror dirty. Light above mirror in bathroom very dirty and had numerous paint marks that had not been wiped off. Only amenities were a little bottle of shampoo and a small bar of soap (no coffee in room or lobby). Levers on kitchen sink are reversed. No hangers in closet. Noisy neighbors (bad soundproofing). Heater/AC unit, microwave, and fridge seemed to work OK.

The first room smelled paint and humidity. I’ve asked to be change. The second room they gave me was already occupied with a giant dog who wasn’t happy to see me in. The third one was finally a decent one for the price. But. Not hot water in the shower. No pressure either. The room was clean but still look dirty. Construction in the building so tools noise till late at night. Never gonna stop there again. Much better option around Fort Wayne.

The room was relatively clean and the bedding at least seemed fresh, but there was an rather moldy odor to the room. It had a kitchenette which was unexpected. Breakfast was non-existent here, but to its credit the listing did not say breakfast included. In the morning I found one pot of very tepid coffee and a refrigerator with two yogurt cups. I was very unpleasantly surprised that I had to pay a deposit upon checking in, as I had previously booked and paid in full on Expedia, but it was refunded by the morning. The area is rather sketchy, and I would not stay here again.
