"After driving in the pouring rain- think can’t see the car in front of you- we finally arrived. The staff was super sweet when I got there and seemed like they valued us choosing their hotel. We got to our room and unloaded everything. Two little kids who had been cooped up in the car for six hours was a lot. They were jumping bed to bed to burn energy and popcorn got spilled EVERYWHERE. I went to the desk to ask for a broom to clean it up and has to assure that it was fine for me to sweep it bc my minions spilled it. The beds were so comfy. The linens were all clean and fresh. The parking lot was clean. The pool was open and clean. Overall it was a great stay. Probably one of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed in to date- and I drive my children SOMEWHERE every weekend to make memories.
I’ve stayed here before and Idk if it helps when deciding on booking or not but from this hotel it’s a 12 minute drive to Target if you turn right and drive down or it’s a turn left and you’re at Okaloosa Island in like 7. There’s a ton of cute shops nearby, Slim Chicken is exactly next door if that’s your thing (it’s not mine), and super convenient to everything. If you are traveling with small children and decide to go to the McDonalds know they take literally forever- 25 minutes on average- to get your orders together. It’s in the best area- you do have to turn right out of the lot and back left from the median.
