Got there to check in to find out it was closed from hurricane Irma.had phone number posted to find out it was not in service.spent hours finding another hotel that cost twice as much .can't get a hold of anyone for a refund..not good business.not happy.got bundle roundtrip airfare and hotel thru expedia.com..keep getting put on hold.

We arrived at the hotel to find it closed and damaged beyond repair There was no staff on duty and no electricity, the signs and awnings were gone I was never notified by Expedia or the motel that it was closed. It took me three hours to find a place to stay at three times the rate i had booked with Bahia cabana

Bad hotel great location

There was paint chipping off the walls, ants in the bathroom, rats outside, the air conditioning did not cool the room even at its lowest setting. Very disappointed.

Close to the beach and marina

It was ok the location was excellent but the hotel needs a lot of upgrades,but you can't beat that price very affordable .the beach is across the street that was amazing

Mini family sun and swim vacay!

At first seeing the check in desk, it was a little sketchy but very pleased with the double bed kitchenette room 501. When first walking in, there was a fantastic clean smell and it was bright, clean and spacious. The cable tv and telephone didn't work but we weren't there to watch tv and so we just hooked up our ipads with Netflix when we did. Staff were always friendly and courteous and quick to resolve any issue. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious and our server Mary was awesome! Jeff was so helpful and nice at checking us in too. The buildings are old but kept clean and it was so nice to just walk 3 minutes across the road to the beach or 1 minute to our resort pool which had a neat outside covered bar. The ground/maintence man was so quick to help us out with plumbing issues and didn't complain when we had to call him back again ( our fault not his lol)

THIS HOTEL IS NOT ON THE BEACH

WE WERE TOLD THIS HOTEL WAS ON THE BEACH AND THAT WE WOULD HAVE A BEACH VIEW NOTHING LIKE IT IS ADVERTISED. ROOMS ARE SMALL AND NOT SO CLEAN. BAR IS RIGHT OUTSIDE OF ROOM SO YOUR HEAR MUSIC UNTIL ALMOST 2AM

Absolutely disgusting

This hotel is OLD! From the moment you enter the lobby you are greeted with an old musty smell. The carpet in the room smells and the shower was chipped and had mildew. The furniture looked like it was purchased at a garage sale. I immediately called Expedia to get a refund and they quickly found another hotel for us.

Don't Second guess yourself

For the secret hotel.com price ( 50% off) it still wasn't worth it..Tiny room, cracked/ chipped shower tiles and fixtures. Permanently stained towels & wash clothes. Room door didn't seal; gap of 2 inches along lower side and bottom..Hotel lobby had no air; very hot and uncomfortable just waiting to check in..Ceiling by front desk leaking..Hotel is really in need of a major makeover..Across the street from beach which was nice. Hotel bar happy hour okay, but food was expensive and either under or over cooked. Sits on Marina; nice yachts..

Very nice!

Very laid back. The perfect place to stay in fort lauderdale, right in the middle of everything. I have stayed here before, and will continue to stay every time I come.

Flop House, maybe if you are taking a cruise ship.

There is not enough good to outweigh the bad. First room - safe didn't work, couldn't be fixed, no towels. phone broken. Second room (different bldg) - cable tv and phone out in bldg. In the kitchenette - NO plates or dishes, 2 forks and 1 spoon. 1 glass. Beds were as old as I am.

It was not good but we didn't have a choice. It was after 11 pm and it was too late to look for something else. The room was old the pool was dirty the location of rooms was bad, too much noise around. After staying there I found couple of bites on me. So I assume that there was something.... wouldn't be back for sure!

Great location

Great location!! fun to take the water taxi and be dropped off right back at the hotel. Beach directly across the street. great staff at the tiki on the premises..especially Tim. He called us all by name and provided great service.

A nightmare

Room 503 Phone and TV didn't World. One bed had a huge hole in the middle. Bathroom needs a refurbishment urgently. The room is very far firm the lobby. Bolt pro is the locación.

Bodde på samma hotel för ca 3 år sedan och tyckte då att det var lite nedgånget men charmigt och levande. Denna gång var hotellet totalt nedgånget. Inget vatten i poolen. Vi bodde i en byggnad på andra sidan från huvudbyggnaden. Kändes som vi var i slummen. Rummet såg ut som om man försökt dölja något genom att måla över delar av tak och väggar. Ljudet från ac var hemskt. Hemska fläckar och missfärgningar i badrummet. Poolen var avspärrad och saknade vatten. Kommer aldrig bo här igen och skulle inte rekommendera någon att göra det även om läget är bra och det är billigt.

Not updated, needs guest service training.

The only positive about this stay was Angel, the front desk clerk, and Max in the restaurant, otherwise the room had chipped paint an upside down door and took 3 flushes for everything. cannot see the beach from anywhere on property, did not honor 40% off for happy hour and dont even get me started about the $15 street parking that is not even gauranteed actually got into an arguement with the valet because when parking wasent available at our building, wanted us to park in a dirt lot or down the street. Housekeeping didnt even acknowledge our good morning greetings, pool area was down and doesn't look anything like the pictures.

Nice Vacations

Staff reception girls are excellent, the hotel structure is old but is in acceptable conditions for its age. Just in front of the beach across the street and you can walk to all stores and touristic attractions near by. No need to take your car out. This was a good choice for our vacations. Thank you Bahia Cabana :)
