"We had a wonderful stay here. The front desk staff was kind, smooth check in. Martha's cafe provided good food and amazing service. Marco the security was very friendly and helped us navigate the area. Raul snack shop around the corner have really good food too. Nice location, Close to everything."

"There was a staff member there that was very rude to us upon checking in and when my family and I wanted to go out and come back in, he refused to move his vehicle for us to park. We cannot park on the side street so we wanted to use the parking lot at that point. I had to contact the manager. We were supposed to be provided breakfast. There was none. I don’t think I would come back here when I’m in the city again."

"We had to book very last minute after American Airlines messed up our flight back, and they were very accommodating on short notice. It was a great location and distance from the airport. Only stayed one night - the dinner at the restaurant was excellent. Some of the facilities are showing their age, but it worked great for what we needed"

"Great place to stay near the airport. Clean rooms and comfy beds. The restaurant is amazing, the staff is super friendly and this was probably some of the best food we ate in our two weeks in Belize and that is saying a lot because the food is spectacular throughout the country. Great way to end our trip with good food and a morning filled with lovely birds singing and howler monkeys. Highly recommend!"

"Sir Angel’s Guesthouse started as a longtime Belizean family home, and it is even named after the patriarch, Angel. Communication while booking was timely and accurate. Upon arrival, my booked ride from the airport was prompt, and the driver gave me a local tour en route to the Guesthouse! I was warmly greeted at the guesthouse by the owner, and even introduced to a family member! "Clean room, comfortable beds, convenient location, kind staff. Regarding reviews about location, most travelers know Belize City is a jumping off point to get to the islands, one nights stay is sometimes required for connecting flights and water taxi. The hotels are not resort quality because no one is staying there for a week. This was a safe and clean location for our one night stay and totally worth the cost.
