Airport shuttle was helpful for me. The hot breakfast was a nice bonus. I found no restaurants for dinner within walking distance so that was inconvenient but overall a good quiet place to stay!

Red Lion Hotel Portland Airport
I travel in and out of PDX about 10 times a year. Red Lion PDX is the best hotel for price, for EZ 24hr shuttle service, for great staff, and a nice collection of convenient microwave frozen breakfast and dinner options, and, the coffee in the lobby is ready at 4 AM every morning. Wifi connection speed was not a speed to do simple tasks on computer. Options to upgrade for a charge but the basic was not good enough.
