"Excellent front desk staff"

"Though driving in, the place concerned us as it looked like a throwback to the 70’s, but the small lobby was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, GREAT SHOWER, comfy beds, and nice amenities with bath items and keurig coffee maker. "

"The staff were all wonderful however the hotel is very old and in desperate need of renovation. I realize the property is undergoing change of ownership but the rooms are very dated and dark. The hot tub was quite shallow and difficult to enjoy and the parking felt sketchy. Beds are comfortable but no outside/outdoor space to enjoy. I hope that once the hotel is fully transitioned to Coast hotels the rooms and amenities will be more enjoyable for the cost."

"The staff were very helpful. The free breakfast was great. The location is very convenient in terms of being across the street from the train station and a very short ride to the downtown core and to Calgary Stampede. We were also able to walk to the university stadium which was also across the street and ate at a delicious BBQ restaurant that was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We didn't have a car but there is also plenty of free parking on site."

"We were in Calgary for the Stampede and this location was very close to transit. It was easy to get around. The breakfast in the morning was great. There was a kitchen in the room but you must remember that it is not stocked with anything including dishes. "Horrible noise. Party tent just below. Staff just say too bad so sad it’s the city. They need to inform people when booking that it’s very very noisy. They even do maintenance at 11 pm. They charge a premium and have very very poor service."
