"Restaurant was amazing! We dined on the panoramic terrace and the wine and meal was delicious! The hotel room was a generous size and had high quality linens. A generous breakfast was served in the inn’s dining room. We stayed here on a drive from southern to northern Italy and were very glad to have booked the place! "

"Very good location. Very clean. Nearby free parking. Breakfast was just okay. Too much unnecessary clutter and perfumery airfreshner smell in room in my opioion. Seemed totally unnecessary as rooms were spotlessly clean. Luggage rack in room would be helpful. Would definitely recommend. "

"The best accommodations we've had in Italy. The rooms are so cute! The stone walls, brick ceiling, and chandelier... I felt like I woke up in a castle. The entire property is just beautiful!! Breakfast was yummy. I wish I took more of the chocolate pastry. Staff was so helpful and friendly. We even met the owner, who was so kind and most generous. I highly recommend staying at Casale Serena. It would be best to get there before dark so you don't miss the signs to locate Serena. You can walk to...

"Poggio Piglia exceeded all expectations — the room was beautifully appointed, the pool serene and surrounded by stunning views, and the entire atmosphere incredibly relaxing. "We couldn’t have found more of a gem. This small boutique hotel in the heart of Sarteano was refurbished and done to the highest of standards. The room was so lovely so tastefully decorated and thoughtfully planned. The breakfast was amazing. Chiara and her brother are so welcoming. We travel to Sarteano often and I’m so glad we found this hotel because it will now be our only go to! Don’t miss your chance to stay here! Absolute gem! "
