"The hotel is fine but it has a few major flaws. - on Saturday night there’s insanely loud music playing from a nearby bar until 1:30AM. Oceanside will be much louder that night than the other side of the hotel. Don’t expect to be able to sleep until the music stops. - worst pillows I’ve ever had for a mid tier chain hotel. Tiny and thin. - terrible plumbing. Both taps fell off and water dripping from the ceiling from the bathroom above. - air con is bad. Temp in room will not go below 75 degrees f. Best thing is the poolside bar food and drinks and the nice lady who runs it. That part is really well run."

"Rooms are very nice, we got upgraded to a one bedroom suite. Everything looks great but I did not find the furniture comfortable. The couch is very low and very deep, difficult to use with anyone with back issues. The chair is the same, very artsy looking but not comfortable at all. The Spa that I had heard a lot about is very basic. The men’s steam room can handle 2 people only! The massage was better than average but certainly not worth $400. The restaurants are great, good and helpful staff, great public places, but this is not a serene hotel. Very crowded, nothing like any of the videos depict. Expensive but so are all the hotels in South Beach. This is a large property, maybe next time will book a small boutique hotel."

"Breakfast was boring. Over cooked and undercooked items. Wasn’t aloud to eat out side even tho it was empty. Most staff were excellent. Air worked well. "

"I didn't have a beach view opened the blinds to discover a wall with windows. Went to tale a shower and the shower fixture fell off the wall n hit me in the leg really ! Overall the hotel was under remodeling so it was not very appealing "

"It was a decent stay, but the place needs some work. The rooms and hallways smelled. My room was clean and spacious, and the view was great. Not much counter space in the bathroom though. Great access to the beach."

"The manager was very helpful and caring with us! The staff in general excellent as well as the free bicycles and free chairs at the beach. The location is also excellent! Nevertheless the room’s bathroom were in poor conditions and the beds felt old and uncomfortable. We are sad about it because we like a lot this hotel and have stayed several times and had never seen this 5 five star hotel in such conditions."
