"Amazing hotel. After a looooong bus trip from Lanquín we were in the roof top pool with a cocktail within 15 mins of arriving. The sunset view across the lake is stunning. Room was great with AC which was welcome. Just note that we booked a shuttle to Tikal which left the hotel punctually, but went to the airport which is 10 mins away and we then waited an hour to collect other people who had booked the same shuttle. We missed the sunset tour at Tikal as a result. Be warned. "

"Staying here, you are literally in a Jungle. If you do not like the nature, it's noises and surprises, this resort is not for you. If you are okay with Howler Monkeys waking you up in the middle of the night, a few spiders or Geckos on your ceiling then you will be alright. This resort is absolutely gorgeous. Restaurant food was decent, smoothies were excellent. Only thing I disliked was the cost to taxi to Flores and back every time. 150 GTC each way, some taxi will try charge you 250...

The room was nice, sharing one bathroom with 6 people it was quite dirty but once the cleaners came through it was fine. great location and if you aren't there in the morning for breakfast they make a sandwich for you to take with you. "
