Overall, a great apartment and a comfortable stay. The exterior and common corridors are modest, but once inside the apartment is spacious, modern, and well laid out. For our family, the two bedrooms with two queen beds worked very well and gave us plenty of space to relax.
The location is a major plus — within a few minutes of central Florence, with excellent access to local transport, grocery stores, and everyday conveniences. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay.
A few minor points to note. The kitchen was functional, but we had expected a dishwasher, which was not available. This wasn’t a major issue, but I personally prefer to run utensils through a dishwasher before use, as I’m not sure how previous guests cleaned them. It just meant we were a bit more deliberate with cooking and utensil use. There was also no wine opener, which in Italy feels like it should be standard — for a short stay, we didn’t want to buy one and instead borrowed from nearby restaurants, who were very kind. Lastly, the towels were usable but quite old and worn.
These are small details, and they didn’t detract much from an otherwise very good experience. Overall, it’s a well-located, comfortable apartment that worked nicely for our family, and we enjoyed our time here.
