"This property met my expectations and was perfect for our needs. It’s a very reasonably priced hotel about 10-15 minutes walk from the main attractions of Florence. The staff was truly friendly and helpful. Though a bit dated and shabby, our two rooms were impeccably clean, sheets and towels crisp and fresh, and the AC unit new and efficient. Plenty of hanging and drawer storage. Fantastic cafe/bakery on a nearby corner for breakfast, restaurants five minutes walk. Try Retro Ristorante—modest...

"Despite receiving confirmation of our stay following the booking process, we received a message the night before our stay at the Five Suites saying we must pay our tourist tax before arrival - our confirmation clearly stating that this tax should be paid at the property (presumably on arrival). Further, the message said that we would receive instructions on how to pay, which were not forthcoming! I called Expedia that evening to complain and spoke to a young man, but he was unable to get hold...

"Very nice hôtel with good prices. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of choice and quality. The view from the rooftop is superb but the cocktail are highly overprized (with 2/3rd) being Ice. "

"Property was located in great part of town with restaurants and cafes right outside the door. It’s currently being remodeled but it didn’t really affect our stay."
