O quarto é grande, tem uma cozinha entre os quartos que pode ser usada em comum, mas precisa de uma melhor limpeza, fomo muito bem atendidos pelo anfitrião e nos ajudou com as informações necessárias. Café da manha é um voucher de uma bebida e dois croissant na padaria na frente da hospedagem.

Great place to stay
Great place to stay when visiting Florence. It was easy to get around and there were shops and restaurants nearby. The owner, Marco was extremely helpful and the bedroom was safe, clean and comfortable. We also had the use of a kitchen area with plenty of crockery,pans and utensils. Very good value in this expensive city

Good location
Place is located right outside of the old city of Florence so very convenient walking distance from lots of places. Marco was very nice and helpful. Place needs a touch up, walls were a bit dirty and is a bit outdated but however I think is the priced the correct way. For some reason the picture I was provided for the apartment on hotels.com was not of the room I booked so that was a bit of a surprise for me.

Positives: - Reception was extremely friendly, gave us a map and showed everything around the city and what to visit and how long it takes. He was very welcoming and made you feel at home. - There were a lot of local restaurants around, and not overly noisy because it was away from the tourist area Negatives: - A fair walk to get to the main attractions, expect a 20 minute walk to the station. - Room itself was quite big, but the added loft where the bed sat on was a bit concerning. We are in reasonably fit condition however was sometimes a struggle to climb the stairs to the bed, and the whole structure wobble every time you moved. Seemed very dangerous, especially at night. Overall the B&B was reasonably priced, it served it purpose, but I’d pay a little bit more and get something closer to the main centre

Marco, the host, was a wonderful man. Very welcoming, contacted me the day before offering assistance in finding the property etc. And he gave me a map of florence, circling all the things i should see. So lovely and a comfortable stay

Parfait pour visiter Florence à pied
Accueil sympathique avec de bons conseils (visites et restauration) Locaux moyens mais fonctionnels et très propre. Parking dans le rue avec paiement à l horodateurs. Petit déjeuner au bar du coin contre ticket. Florence historique à 15 min à pied. Donc parfait pour visiter Florence.

La habitación es muy amplia, la zona es muy tranquila y caminando se puede llegar a todos lados. El personal fue muy atento. Exacto como en las fotos. 100% recomendado

Good location, unsafe bed
My wife felt uncomfortable with the stairs, they were too steep. So she slept downstairs. The bed downstairs wasn't supported properly at the sides and she fell out of it one night. If she sat on the edge of it, it would tip up.

Authentic and cozy hotel
Great location, a quiet and quaint area, 15 min walk to old town where the crowds are. Marco was very welcoming and as soon as we arrived he gave us suggestions for what to visit, where to eat and where the reasonable prices are. He also lent us an adaptor for Italian outlets, which was super useful! His food suggestions were wonderful, we ended up in several charming and authentic restaurants with barely any tourists, and delicious food. The room was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable! There is also a well stocked supermarket nearby, and the bus stop is right outside the building. The patisserie that Marco gave us vouchers for was very cute and the pastries were fresh and very very good. I would definitely stay here again! p.s: I would recommend if going to Florence in the spring or summer to be equipped with a spray anti mosquitoes - there is no way to escape them.

Florence stay
We enjoyed our stay here and Marco was extremely helpful, we enjoyed staying on this side of town, only slightly out of the hussel and bussel and a very easy walk into town. The cafe where we ate breakfast each morning was beautiful and had amazing custard donuts!

Не отель, а дом родной
Огромное спасибо Марко. Принял душевно. Дал карту, на которой все подробно показал (достопримечательности, магазины и маршруты автобусов). Жили в номере на первом этаже (где кровать на втором ярусе под потолком с фресками). Утром просыпаешься словно уже в музее. Супермаркет -5 минут. Микроволновка в номере и холодильник. А какие круассаны на завтраке в кафе через дорожку по утрам- чудеса.Рекомендую всем этот отель.

We really enjoyed our trip to Firenze, and the B&B was part of it. Perfectly located, walking distance of most attractions. The owners were very helpful to facilitate our visits.

B&B de bastante calidad
Habitaciones muy limpias y personal muy atento. Buena ubicación para ir en coche ya que se encuentra fuera de la zona de tráfico limitado y el centro está a unos 20 minutos andando, además tiene cerca un supermercado y bastantes restaurantes y trattorias. El dueño dispone de un garaje privado de pago aparte (a buen precio).

Nous avions choisit cette chambre d'hôte pour une semaine romantique sur Florence. Les points positifs sont tout d'abord l'emplacement : à deux pas d'un arrêt de bus et à moins de 20 min à pied du centre de Florence (ce qui constitue une promenade agréable le matin), le quartier est très calme et les restaurants et bar à vins à proximité sont bien plus abordables que dans le centre. Ensuite l'accueil est sympathique et vous pouvez poser des questions aussi bien en anglais ou en français sur les alentours. Les points plus négatifs concerne le gite en lui même: bien qu'ayant un certain charme et assez propre, la chambre n'est pas non plus parfaite, le coin cuisine n'est pas propre et la literie est vraiment mauvaise (personne ayant des maux de dos, s'abstenir ! ). En ce qui concerne le petit déjeuner c'est en fait un coupon qui donne le droit à un café et deux pâtisseries (bourratives et vraiment pas bonnes) au bar du coin de la rue. Voilà, si vous souhaitez visiter Florence et vous loger à pas trop cher pour profiter des musés et des restaurants, cet hôtel vous conviendra surement, mais si vous voulez du confort et du romantisme passer votre chemin.

Great place, Great price!
I loved the BB Porta San Frediano. I really enjoyed my stay here. Every appliance worked great. I was there when it was cold and rainy and the heater was amazing. The room is very spacious and has a couch and separate living room space. The BB is a little far from the town center, but I liked that it was away from the crowds. It was nice and quiet. And the reality is that it's not that far, I walked from the main train station to the BB with a heavy backpack. Marco is so friendly and helpful. He gave me and my friend a map of Florence and wrote out the bus routes and lines that we should take. He also gave us dinner recommendations. The breakfast coupons you receive are also a nice touch. The cafe across the street is great and their pastries are delicious! I highly recommend this place and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Marco for a wonderful stay in beautiful Florence!

Perfect base for exploration
Our room was comfortable, clean, and had everything that we needed for our stay, including a handy kitchenette, allowing us to make full use of the huge and delicious food market. Marco was a friendly host and the breakfast in the bar across the road was a delightful bonus. It was a 15 minute walk into the city centre, or 20 if you enjoy more of a stroll, with restaurants, bars and a great gelateria much closer. All in all we had a really good time here.

Muy buena atención, Marco te ofrece ayuda en todo. Aunque no está del todo cerca del centro, está a 15 min del Duomo y del Puente Viejo. Cerca parada de bus y supermercado. A 10 min de la estación principal.

Be amongst the Italians and see the real Florence
We really enjoyed our stay here, as everyone says Marco is a top guy and recommends some great places to eat. The place is a 10 minute walk to the main tourist spots, but we didn't want to be amongst all that, so if was great to be surrounded by predominantly Italians. There is a big supermarket just round the corner which came in very handy, and it's also close to the bus stop to go to the best part of Florence in our opinion - the Piazza Michelangelo - I actually proposed to my girlfriend up there, that's how special it is!
