Thankfully, the staff member gave us another room and we were able to settle in but after travelling...

"Oh my gosh where do I start. This place was so disgusting that we couldn't even contemplate staying in that filth. The place was an absolute dump. As soon as we parked our vehicle the vibe of that place was already telling me to leave. The area was filthy with rubbish outside the room and surrounding areas. The pics on their website did not reflect the lodge at all. The parking was like a matchbox. After ringing to try to cancel we were offered another room. Giving them the benefit of the doubt...

"It was everything we required for a one night stay , it provided kitchen facilities that enabled a meal to be cooked. It is very well situated and easy to find right next to the main motorway from Auckland however there were no eateries that we found close hence the meal cooking "

"Very convenient location for what we needed (next to Due Drop). Restaurant downstairs which we dined at twice - good food, fair prices. And also located next to lone star and a few other shops. Easy to get to off motorway. "

"The receptionist was amazing!! Room was very basic, there was tee, coffee etc but no milk. Basin was not attached to the vanity. The heat elements were taped so to not turn them on, we didn’t need to use it however. Good tjo for tie price but the reception last was top notch especially the (Indian and I’m not being racist) lady when we checked out!"
