"Lovely property, especially for the price. It was clean, the staff was attentive, laundry facility was nice and it was walking distance to a coffee shop and restaurant. Went with my 15 year old and we had a good time! It was very safe!"
"We did our research and knew what to expect when it came to showers, electricity, etc. Staff was excellent - very accommodating. We would stay at Under Canvas again. Only slight negative, we underestimated the number of families with small children. "
"Great base for exploring Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Parking outside the room. Fridge and coffee making facilities in the room. We appreciated the outdoor grill and picnic tables. We had no problem finding all day parking in Bar Harbor when we went on a couple of cruises but we were there early in the morning. "
"We had such a lovely stay at this bed and breakfast! The hosts were some of the friendliest people we’ve ever met—so welcoming and helpful with tips about Bar Harbor and Acadia. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and made us feel right at home. And we absolutely adored Cookie, their sweet dog—he made the stay even more special. We would definitely come back the next time we’re in the area!"
"I saw several reviews knocking this place. It's not a Hilton, it's a nice roadside motel. I saw 1 spider, no roaches or drug addicts in the parking lot. What i did observe, was a place that was reasonable priced, central to what i needed. Staff was friendly, polite, and my room was very clean (just older facility). I would hesitate to stay here again if i ever came back to Acadia. "
