Verder is de b&b erg mooi karakteristiek. Wel zou ik persoonlijk een renovatie aanraden. De wc en buitenkant van de b&b mogen wat liefde hebben. "Das Hotel ist total toll im Studentenviertel gelegen. Ein recht günstiges Parkhaus ist direkt am Gebäude. Die sind sehr rustikal, erinnern an eine Lagerhalle. Das ist aber gewünscht. Aber sehr gemütlich und alles ist top."

The lady on reception gave us some local Belgian sweets and we also got free drinks vouchers due to the inconvenience of the construction going on at the hotel. "Our room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. There were two large windows with a nice view of the street front. The whole hotel, that we could see, looked freshly remodeled. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet. The location was great with three tram lines nearby as well as the Gent-Sint-Pieters train station. Plenty of restaurants nearby, all though many are closed on Sunday- Monday. 20-25 minute walk or a short train ride to the historic city...

"When I arrived the hotel was locked and unstaffed. There was a number to call posted on the door which was unobtainable. There phone number on the hotel website was not answered. I sat in a nearby park for an hour and when I returned the door was opened and a man was there to check me in. I pointed out that the mobile number posted on the door was unobtainable, but he didn’t seem concerned. When I left the same number was posted on the door."

"Très sympatique réception de la part de Frédéric malgré l'heure (très) tardive de mon arrivée. Je regrette qu'il n'y avait pas la télévision (problème de changement de fournisseur d'accès), que cela n'aie pas été mentionné et que cela n'aie pas fait l'objet d'une ristourne. A ce sujet, je trouve le prix surévalué par rapport aux prestations. Merci encore à Fred qui s'est levé de bonne heure afin de me préparer le petit-dej pour que je sois à l'heure à mon rendez-vous."
