"I loved staying at Taergesen Guesthouse. It was a beautiful view. Clean and quiet. Honestly, it was one of my favorite places in all of Iceland. Really felt so authentic and sweet."

"The staff was very helpful with e-mailing me ahead of time so I knew it was a long drive on a gravel road and there was no food available in the area. What I wasn't prepared for was the steep climb up a one lane road and back down. My little rental car did do just fine and then at the end wow what a view! The area was breathtaking. Im so glad I made the drive to experience this magical place."

"Stayed here for one night as part of our Ring Road trip and it was fine for that. Walls were really thin, guests were quiet but could hear water run every time toilet was flushed. Place had a lot of rooms so lots of people coming in and out and moving around and our room was first floor right by the door. Rooms are scarce in the area so its served its purpose but was one of our least liked places we stayed. Probably bottom one or two places out of our 9 day trip."

"Wonderful cottage located in a beautiful farm property with gorgeous view of the mountain and surroundings. Clean and spacious with all the needed amenities for our 2 nights stay. Very nice hostess and her beautiful Icelandic horses. The stay would have been perfect if the horse riding tour was available during our 2 nights stay. It is 15 minutes to the town center. Should take that into consideration when booking, Knowing all that, we would book the place again."

"We did not see or meet any staff member. However the coffee machine in kitchen stopped working and there was someone very soon to fix it.
Rooms and toilets were small but clean and well appointed. The common kitchen had all the things we needed for a group of seven. We stayed one night only and regretted not staying one more day to explore teh quaint town of Seydisfjurdor. Highly recommend this place"
