"Had a lovely 1 night stay at Balbeggie. Room was lovely with a lovely view out over the garden. Food was delicious with plenty of choice. Fantastic cocktails at a really good price. All staff were so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here and we will be back."

"We got a great last minute deal. The hotel is easy to find with ample parking to the rear. We checked in and headed to our room. It was small but clean. It had a large smart TV, a large bed, coffee and tea making facilities, a clean and modern bathroom, a safe and complimentary water. I would have liked a wardrobe or hooks on the wall to hang up our clothes/ stow our luggage but it's not a deal breaker. The hotel had a pool and gym that we checked out but didn't use. "The property itself was a lovely upstairs room, generous in size and very close to the rail station with a direct line to Edinburgh. We had a two night stay and found the bed to be very comfortable. A generous soak bath tub is in the main bedroom. Little snacks were a pleasant gift. Small issues were disappointing.On arrival there was no soap in the container and We were disappointed that despite asking for the room to be serviced, the soap was not replenished, toilet paper not replenished and...

"Had a very pleasant 2 night stay. The hotel is in a lovely location with superb views over Petticur Bay. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious and I especially enjoyed having a room with a sea view and balcony. "

We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary milk, bread, jam and tea at the property as well as a welcome note and small reference manual for our stay. Of particular note were the sunrise and sunset ocean views both from the property itself and on the half-mile walk from the property to the train station. If you take the train from Edinburgh to Kinghorn in the evening, you might catch the sunset over the bridge- Gorgeous! We had a lovely time...
