"Room was clean and larger than expected. Breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It's not a far walk to the shops or the walking/bike path. If I'm in the area again I would definitely stay here again."

"This is a hidden gem. A car is essential as the hotel is in a very pretty but rural area with no other facilities. However the hotel is absolutely first class, the rooms are spacious, airy and well appointed. The hotel restaurant is brilliant with a great selection of local dishes and on Saturday and Sunday a quaint small bar at the front of the hotel where you can sit and watch the occasional cyclist or car go by. The owning family are so helpful and made us feel so welcome "

"Well what an absolute pleasure it was to stay here not only were we treated like friends I think myself and Alberto who with his wife own this beautiful house actually became just that friends. We were on our motorcycle tour of 6 weeks when I booked the nights stay here on our way from Lake Como to Ljubljana in Slovenia. "Alice is one of the most kindest hosts I’ve ever met. Going above and beyond does not begin to cover the words needed to describe the experience Alice provided. Before we even arrived, she woke up out of her sleep to assist me. I hadn’t realized the time difference and she still woke up to with some requests needed. She arranged our transportation, she personally took me on a tour guide to the best places in the city near the town’s most known archeological church. Then took me to get some authentic pizza, handmade gelato, and local wine. I mention this because she knew the area and knew transportation was difficult and wanted us to have food for the night. She woke up early and prepared a beautiful and tasteful breakfast for my friends and me. And packed our luggage while we ate said breakfast. I cannot begin to thank her enough for the kindness shown because she turned a day or horrific issues that she did NOT cause into a beautiful night and morning. She’s not just a host, she’s an experience and everyone should stay with her. Thank you for the kindness and generosity you’ve shown us Alice. You are truly one of a kind. "
