This is a well-designed hotel, and the proximity to picturesque Ladysmith was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend to teams traveling for tournaments in Nanaimo."

Shelby in Housekeeping was so helpful when I needed vinegar for my laundry rinse. Adrianna in the breakfast room was stellar, the absolute best keeping things stocked. The housekeeping staff are terrific with their duties. As long as you have room, we will be back! (Sometimes we aren’t able to get a room! No wonder:-)"

"This motel was very low end not worth the money we paid. Buyer beware. The motel is old and run down. It had a homeless camp feel to it. It came with good reviews that is why we chose it but now that I stayed there a weekend it was a huge mistake. Did not feel safe staying there."

"Lovely location snd charming hotel. Room was basic but spacious. Bed was a bit springy. Kitchenette with fridge, hotplate microwave and coffeemaker was appreciated. Basic plates, utensils as well. Great breakfast included. Loved the location by the water- a nice walkway for a stroll."
