Many menu options were unavailable, and the staff was very unwilling to accommodate any requests that differed from the norm (for example, someone in our part wanted a portion of muscles, but because slhe hadn't made a reservation, as the rest of the party didn't want to dine, they refused to serve them even though he was going to take the food outside or the room). "Truly the best property in Portree. Yes you are outside of town centre, but it is within a 10 minute walk which we easily did a few times. The hotel was incredible. My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon and the pictures do not do it justice ! It is by far one of the most romantic places I’ve stayed . Of course ,the weather was amazing when we went ;but it was so cozy and charming , especially waking up to the sunrise . The room was clean and efficient, all we really needed . Very sleek...

"I loved this place! Everything was fantastic. My room had the largest bed I have ever seen. The place was spotless. Great hot water, big shower with an amazing rain head. Loads of room. Fluffy towels. Nespresso machine.i wish there had been shampoo, conditioner and lotion. I find that shower gel is not a great shampoo. The temperature in the room was fine for this time of year and the windows open but I wonder if that would be acceptable in summer. I did not use the steam room but it’s a nice...

"Our stay at the Skye Inn was made very enjoyable because the Staff were so welcoming and did everything to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast menu was both varied and delicious served with a smile. Our room was clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. A tray filled with choices of tea coffee and chocolate was a bonus.Fresh milk was replenished when required. Our dog had a wonderful reception."
