"Beautiful old build lot of charm "

"We love the hotel and had a comfort stay, everything good, friendly staff, new, clean, spacious room, clean, modern toilet with good valuation, nice breakfast. The only thing is above our room is the restaurant and we heard noise of people walking around and trolley pulling around even in mid night."

"An interesting place and not necessarily in a positive way. The, very few, staff working were lovely and very accommodating, and the food decent but goodness me does the place need an overhaul. Dated, scruffy and not on my list to return to. Sad really as it could be a very beautiful desirable place to stay if time and money were spent on it."

"Well located for shops and both Exeter Main and St. Davids railway stations. My room was compact but well thought out and well equipped. It was great to have a light next to the bed which you could turn off/on easily and the shower was good. Breakfast was first class, beautifully served and coffee one of the best. I would have liked more savoury options for the breakfast but that is just a small preference. Host was really helpful and very welcoming. I would stay here again."
