"Great hotel with period features. Great location within walking distance to all the historical tourist sites. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were really helpful, providing us with a map and recommendations for restaurants. I especially appreciated the invitation for the wine tasting. "I stayed 3 nights, room was cleaned every day. Great quiet spot to base out of if you are traveling around Alentejo. The town is very cute and there are lots of beaches in each town around the alqueva. It is worth driving around for a day to see all the small villages. There are some great food options around town as well. I did not eat breakfast here but they do have a Continental breakfast area."
