"Hotel is good, BUT BUT, the way to reach to the hotel especially with the luggage is terrible. You have to walk about 200 meter with up and down hills to reach to the hotel with cobble stone road. The roads are not easy so if u can lift all the weight, it is good hotel."

"A well run hotel situated in the middle of hill with stunning view of sea and the surrounding area. Only 5 minutes from the begining of Kamari and 10 minutes from the beach. A family run hotel that is very clean, tidy with spacious rooms. Most rooms come with a balcony which gives the view. The bed is most comfortable.There is a fridge, microwave and crockery in the room. The hotel has a pool with the minimum depth of 60 cm and maximum of 220 cm. It is quite a spacious area with a large number of sunbeds. There is a pool-bar and they provide food which is extremely delicious and large portion. The owner and staff are very polite, friendly and professional. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you, efcharisto, Tasos, Khora and Zoe."

"Could not have asked for a better experience on my first time in Santorini and traveling alone from the US. The front desk manager, Athena, was prompted in reaching out to confirm my reservation and airport pickup months in advance. She checked up on me almost daily to ensure I had everything I needed during my stay. Kastos, the shuttle driver is a gem and so sweet. He made sure I had his personal contact to reach out at any time when I needed a ride (much more affordable than other taxi services). And Valentina, the housekeeper, there are no words to express how great she is. A woman who takes pride in her work. My breakfast was brought to my room and precisely the time I requested and it was always hot, fresh, and delicious! She thoroughly cleaned my room daily and even replaced my sheets when I mistakenly slept in my makeup. Aja Retreat is certainly a place to stay with amazing views, affordable rates, and an incredible staff!"

"Book this property! I promise it will exceed your expectations. This place made our trip truly memorable from start to finish. The staff was absolutely amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a wonderful stay. Upon arrival, they immediately greeted us, took our bags to our room, and made sure we felt completely settled in. During check-in, they thoughtfully asked about any food allergies to note on our account. As someone with Celiac disease, this meant so much to me. I had zero issues with the food on site — the servers and bartenders were already informed of my gluten allergy and remembered it every time we visited a restaurant. That level of care and attention was truly exceptional. The facilities were stunning and beautifully maintained. The entire property truly felt like a luxury resort. We were given a golf cart tour upon arrival, where staff showed us the spa, on-site restaurants, gym, and the various pools. It was the perfect introduction and made navigating the property so easy. While Kamari may not be considered the most glamorous side of the island, we actually loved how quiet and secluded it felt. After visiting some of the surrounding cities, which were much busier and had hotel rooms backing directly onto the main tourist paths, we were especially grateful for the peaceful atmosphere here. Staying on this side gave us the perfect, easy access to explore, but a relaxing retreat to return to each day. Would 100% stay again!! "
