"We were placed in a room that smelled like marijuana. We were transferred to another room but that room smelled like dog pee. They were nice enough to transfer us to different rooms but it was stressful to pack and unpack our luggage to make the move instead of being relaxed while on vacation."

"We arrived in the early-afternoon, and struggled with finding access to the main 'entrance'. After parking and walking around the perimeter of the lodge, we found a keypad which rang into the host of the property. The host was relaxed and laid-back, which spoke to the location of our stay; Can Bassa is tucked 25-minutes outside of Girona, with no local amenities (gas, grocery, food) accessible. "I only stayed here for one night before I travelled to Barcelona, but the room was clean. It was on the outskirts of the old town so not too far to travel for some sightseeing. Walking distance from the main train station that was very convenient for me. The room was very small and so was the shower cubicle. It wasn’t worth the money I paid but I would probably stay here again if the price was lower. The front desk is unmanned and when I needed help and advice there was no one there to help me....
