Barceló Aruba - All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"The rooms were clean. Breakfast and lunch buffet food options were not very good, plus you only had the 2 places to choose from, no outdoor food bar at all, no snack bar either. The restaurants at night were wonderful though!! The nightly food was delicious! We had to wake up at 5:45am each day to be able to reserve a pool lounge chair, by 6:30, they’re all taken. Definitely need a bigger pool area with more chairs. The resort location was great, close to some amazing restaurants across the street."

"So our room was cleaned daily but still smelled of urine. Also our AC did not work for 2 days before someone came up to fix it. The ladies at coffee shop at divi always seemed to be in a bad mood Even though many people tipped them. The Red parrot had excellent food as did Club Margot ant the Tamarjn."

"Our stay was great! Rooms were cleaned, full of amenities, lots of shops and restaurants around. Transportation between the two resorts was easy, fast, and efficient. The boat ride to see the flamingo was so much fun but prepare to get wet. Food and service on the island was great too. I was a little disappointed with the amount of flamingos to see but overall beautiful area and must visit. Staff 10 out of 10"

Divi Dutch Village Beach Resort

2/10 Terrible

"The Divi Dutch Village is a joke. Their website says you have access to 8 Restaurants, 6 Bars, 7 Pools and free daily bottle of wine. On our brochure that we received during check-in, there were 3 restaurants that were circled, along with the coffee bar and 1 other place. All 3 basically have the same food, bland. The drinks were horrible. If you are on the beach, you don't have access to the beach bar as all inclusive, you have to walk back to the pool bar to get a drink. When I asked the staff, they said sorry, the website needs updated. And we never saw a daily bottle of wine. We called for towels one evening and I had to ask the cleaning lady the next day for towels because no one ever came. The only thing positive about the stay was the concierge was very helpful. We actually flew back home a day early because we were so disappointed. I talked to several guests that had stayed at Divi Dutch before and they were completely disappointed with the changes in the All-Inclusive. "
