"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed warmly and felt at home. The room was clean and well equipped and there are communal reading areas with games where you can relax. The restaurant was fabulous, serving home made local dishes. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner during our stay and all were delicious. Being on a working farm was wonderful with the chance to see the animals. For kids it must be a really special experience and the owners really took time...

"Wonderful alberque. Be prepared for a bit of a different experience. To help eliminate unwanted bed bugs, which hitch a ride on pilgrims bags, your gear is stored in lockers downstairs and a laundry basket provided to bring up what's needed. Your gear in the locker is secured by a key and another locker upstairs as well. The beds are made and the shower, sink, toilet ratio per person is excellent. "We had a very good stay at the hotel, 3 guys on motorcycles, it is easy to find and Ribadeo is a short 15 minute walk to the centre of the town, though there are bars and restaurants 5 minutes away, there is also LIDL, and other major supermarkets 5 minutes away including McDonalds, you can have breakfast in the bar area or buffet style i10 Euro, in another room, Restaurant was closed for a refurb during our stay, Bar closes early around 10.30pm. Large free car park, great free WIFI, Swimming pool to the rear, set in a garden area and covered patio/beer garden, Some will think it is a little dated, but it was very clean, great size bedrooms, spotlessly clean and very good price. 5* from me and the guys."

"The whole hotel was extremely clean. It is in a segregated place, but not difficult to approach by car. Plenty of parking spots in a well maintained carpark Breakfast is rich and the staff is kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there. Highly recommended."

"Great place to stop for a night en route. You drive your car into a garage and access the room from the garage, which is convenient and secure. Very good choice when travelling with a dog. The bathroom is spacious and modern with good facilities. The system for accessing the property is poorly thought out and doesn’t work well. You have to block the entrance barrier with your car while checking in at reception. Breakfast has a great range of food options. The property is isolated with limited amenities nearby. For dinner you need to drive 10-15 minutes to the city of Avilés. A visit to Avilés is highly recommended even if you’re only stopping over for one night."
