"Everything was brilliant"

"This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish. "We had an amazing time,the surroundings are just incredible,so beautiful and peaceful.My family really enjoyed the barn and we played board games,lit a fire which was fabulous.The option to BBQ also.We had such fun.Our huts were just gorgeous,everything was spotlessly clean,the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was to a very high standard.We took a stroll through the meadow and had a turn in the paddle boat on the the water on the grounds,so much fun.The hosts really take great care of this...

"Carhy and Paul were consummate hosts that anticipated our every need and then some. The chioce of breakfasts were the best that we have ever had and the evening meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was bright, and so welcoming. The beds were confortable too. I really cannot say enough good about our stay other than I wish it had been much longer. A perfect place to stay !!"

"As there isn’t on-site parking, we worried about where to put the car. No problem at all - directly across the small road and next to the hotel are parking places, and the hotel validates the parking (it is free to you, the guest). The room we stayed in was a good size, had a great bathroom and shower, and a comfortable bed. "Great little locally owned place. The food was good. The pub was great. Friendly locals gathered as well as fellow travelers. Had a great time and really enjoyed staying at the hotel so much, we decided to stay another night. The staff was also very accommodating where they could be, although we did have a few issues. We had some trouble with no heat in our room the first night. The staff was quick to respond to turn it on that evening; however, it didn't get/stay on, so it never warmed up, and...

"Overall stay was good. Room was very clean and the staff were friendly. No early checkin was available, so I had to wait nearly 3 hours to get my room. Parking is terrible for this place. Basically, a dirt parking lot. Very difficult to find a spot. Also, paid about $30 dollars for the fish and chips. TERRIBLE. Peas were nearly cold and poor quality fish. Would not eat there again but I would stay there for location and cleanliness."

"The hotel is older and could use updating. Landscaping appears to be overgrown in some areas. Outside our window was an old grocery cart and a piece of fencing. Not sure why it was there. Parking was limited and there was no air conditioning. Showers were very small."
