"Villa Elisa is a beautiful house in a fantastic town. It’s a perfect location if you plan to hike The Path of the Gods. It’s also a great location if you’re looking for a quiet town in the hills with great restaurants. An important point of clarification - in the property listing it states that it is 9 minute drive to Amalfi beach. This is not accurate. It is at least 30 minutes by bus and a taxi is about 90 euros. "About 2000 feet above the Amalfi coast Road. Not terribly convenient unless you are driving or renting a car. But the switchback road from seafront up to the hotel is an adventure in itself. The views are stunning and the balcony/decks off of the rooms are bigger than most hotel decks For all of their clientele. Quite luxuriously appointed and immaculately maintained."
