"The carpet was so dusty that I had severe coughing attacks from carpet collection of allergens. Painters were sprayed painting the exterior of the buildings during my stay duration and that was another respiratory toxic allergen that I was exposed to. The environmental allergens that I had to endure resulted in severe coughs, cascading reaction, felt very sick, and had to leave the property three days early out of my 5 days reservation. It was prepaid non-cancellation. On a different note, the fridge didn’t work. There was no stopper for the bathtub and front desk said manager couldn’t find one on the property. It’s not a central HVAC, so the heater/fan is loud by beside since it is installed on outside wall below window. The bolt lock didn’t work from the inside. "

"The upstairs room I was in was not my favorite one on this property. I've stayed several times. The windows face onto the hallway and south, while the prevailing winds come from the West. There was a tiny air conditioner, mounted on the south facing wall. It had to work hard to cool the room. In a full summer heatwave it would be overwhelmed. The bed was comfortable with a range of pillow firmness. Parking can be challenging if they are fully booked and you don't time things well. Backing out into traffic on the coast highway in a construction zone was unwise. Luckily I was able to manuever so that I backed in, facing the highway."

"Very disappointing stay. A sprinkler in the room was already damaged when I checked in. After I checked out, the manager charged my card $75 for the sprinkler damage that was clearly already there. When I called to dispute it, the manager wouldn’t resolve the issue. The hotel was also under construction with loud noise early in the morning and the room had dirty sheets and no do-not-disturb sign in addition to the sprinkler incident. Thankfully corporate was more understanding, but with so many other places to stay in the area, I’d recommend choosing somewhere else."

"Room was nice, comfortable bed. We had a balcony but the view was awful. View of someone's yard with tons of trash. The biggest bummer was the pool was closed due to construction. Might've picked a different hotel if we had known."
