"The place was clean! A bright, simple room, one queen bed, a window to the street, bathrooms close by across the hall. There's a roomy kitchen-living-relaxing space, fridges, free tea and coffee (the manager, John, makes a pot in the morning.) The location was excellent--right on the corner of Bastion and Commercial street, giving you walkable access to all the main attractions of Nanaimo. "We stayed as a group of eight, and the experience was fantastic. The lake view, especially in the evening, was beautiful and made for a perfect backdrop. We had a fun barbecue and found the staff to be genuinely helpful and welcoming. Overall, it gave us a peaceful and memorable time, and we’d absolutely recommend it."

"There were available parking stalls. The room was not very clean. They must have just painted it during the day as it was full of paint fumes. There were no side tables for either bed. The bedding was questionable one top sheet looked like it was actually a tablecloth. Only 3 light bulbs worked and the bathroom door didnt close."

"I’ve stayed here a few times, and the staff have always been kind and helpful! We got the standard 2 queen beds, the room is spotless, the beds are comfortable and there’s great wifi and cable! The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need for some home cooking while you’re away! The motel is super close to many amenities (great Indian spot near by.) I always choose to stay here while I’m travelling!"
