"The place was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice big lounge area. I enjoyed my stay and it is beautiful overlooking the river. It was quiet even though the street in front was busy. Blackout curtains are there if you need them. There was extra pillows and blankets if needed but I didn’t. I liked the bathroom. "Our room at Hospedería de los Parajes was very comfortable, quiet and spacious. The staff here are all very nice, and our meals at Restaurante Los Parajes were exceptional. My wife and I had the extensive breakfast buffet each morning, and we also enjoyed two of our dinners while we were in La Guardia. "We’re just sorry we arrived late and had to check out early for wine tastings in the morning. A thoughtful modern renovation of an old stone farmhouse set in a tranquil village overlooking vineyards. Our breakfast of fresh juice and fruits, cheese and a selection of salmon and cured meats was prepared by a very charming local woman. "Centre of town next to cathedral fantastic location. Great tapas bar underneath and in san Juan or 3 minutes walk to calle del Laurel. Comfy bed, slept great and had a lazy day just going to Navarrete. My second stay here and the staff are great. Easy to book easy to get in at 2.15pm when I arrived and easy to leave on my lazy day at 10:45 feeling pampered after the albergue world of the Camino. I'd come here when I wasn't on Camino. Great value."
