The grounds and pool were also quite nice. If “bang for your buck” is a priority, I recommend La Maracuya. It’s a little remote, but we wanted some quiet time, and the location didn’t prevent us from exploring. We visited the pacific beaches and El Valle de Anton via rental car. The owner treated me as a friend giving me good advice and any possible assistance, for instance bicycles are available free of charge. He keeps a friendly dog welcoming every guest without any harm. The house is located beside a stream of fresh mountain water. I'd like to come again."

"The rooms were spacious and clean. The room had unforgettable view. Pacific Ocean beach is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Balcony was overlooking the beautiful river and palm trees with golf course. Staff were courteous, friendly and attentive. Our family of 4 stayed for 2 nights and had a great time."
