"Great two night stay to visit Tangiers! Hotel staff recommended Balearia which provided a great tour. Wish I had time to use the hot tub (extra cost and need swimming cap). Gym is quite limited and the rooftop was closed during my visit which was disappointing since it part of the reason I selected the property. Staff is great, breakfast buffet looked good but we don’t choose that option. Parking is plentiful just outside hotel and later noticed they had a parking lot under hotel."

"If you want to relax, this is a good place as it’s away from the town. If you are planning on taking the ferry from Tarifa to Tanger I would stay in town at a hotel in town with parking. Parking at the ferry is very small and expensive. We ended up taking a taxi for 24 Euros there and 19 Euros return.
This hotel’s staff had very limited English and we didn’t find them very friendly or helpful.
We had a bungalow and the walk there was extremely overgrown with plants so dangerous walking to our...

"The hotel's location was fantastic—very central yet surprisingly quiet at night. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of having coffee, tea, and water provided in the room. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure.
The only downside was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom drains. We have encountered this issue at other hotels where a solution was found, but unfortunately, the bathroom fragrances provided here did little to mask it.
I would...

"The website photos certainly do not depict the true version of this location. The rooms are stark, lack blankets and no privacy with patio off the room. You can’t open the drapery without guests looking right in at you.
The best part was the lovely restaurant!!"
