"Absolutely loved this place in the Medina, just a few minutes walk from Zeitouna Mosque. It's tasteful and beautifully presented, evocative of times gone by and just like the lovely pictures. Everywhere you look there is something nice to see. We were in a lovely large room and it was a delight to wake and look out at the courtyard and eat on the veranda in fresh air. We were here in February - the Medina was very quiet at night and our room was peaceful. The staff were ready to help - Hassan made sure we got to and from the restaurants in the evening so that we didn't lose our way in the Medina at night. A great spot to explore Tunis and be right at its heart. We'd happily come back! "

"Clean room great stay "

"The bathroom shower flooded. It was clogged up. Dirty shower water was seeping into my living space it was disgusting.The attendant lady was so rude and disrespectful. She told me there’s nothing she could do. The TV channels did not work. The Internet in my room did not work. They told me there is a problem with the Internet in the third floor. this was a terrible experience. I don’t recommend this place to anyone."

"Dar Ya is in the middle of the medina. I do advise getting there in the daylight hours as it’s hard to find otherwise and a bit creepy. Staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. All of Tunisia really. Place was clean and bathrooms were accessible etc. Breakfast was good as well-basic Tunisia fare and adequate. "

"Location was good but the receptionist is very rude, one of the least triendly receptionist I've met at a hotel anywhere in the world lol. Room was fine and clean enough but everything seems quite old and some stuff were not maintained. "
