"To start the trip, the staff at the front desk was lovely which made our initial impression positive. As we entered the villa there were ants on the counter tops and in the bathroom. As our stay progressed, the ant infestation got progressively worse. We finally decided to speak to the receptionists, where they told us it was our fault for not coming earlier to report the problem. A man entered our room without us knowing to clean out the ants. They did not give us any compensation for this....

"Modern hotel, good location. Room itself was good, however the location was poor (room 229). No sun at any time of day on the balcony. Right above the children’s play area at the restaurant so v noisy from early morning. Also next to the entertainment area, but back of stage so couldn’t actually see, but could hear! Entertainment stops at 10pm so not too bad. We didn’t move rooms as had already unpacked. We did pre-request a quiet location with a view - we got neither. This hotel is great if...

"I stayed at the The Ritz-Carlton, Abama with my husband and baby. On the second day of our trip, I contacted the concierge to request assistance with freezing our baby’s milk ice packs, and a member of staff came to our room to collect them. At checkout, we requested that the ice packs be returned to us. We were informed that someone would bring them down shortly, so we waited in our room for nearly an hour for an update that never came. "Room was spacious and had everything you needed. Kitchen was fully stocked. Room was clean. The breakfast was excellent!"

"Excellent hotel. Staff are amazing. Plenty of choice in the buffet. Particularly enjoyed The Beach Club restaurant. Pools are heated and there’s always loads of sunbeds available. Pool towels are also provided. Enjoyed the evening entertainment and bar staff always walking around ready to fetch you drinks. "
