"Staff was rude and not helpful at all."

"I’ve been staying at the Claridge for some time now. I came down for the last AC beer fest weekend and Claridge is typically my place to stay. It’s sad how COVID has diminished these once pristine places. The gift shop was gone, the lounge, empty, and the overall vibe was a little sad. The Ocean view room was fine, but was is severe need of updating. A dilapidated wet bar was in the room that seemed to serve no purpose, and one of the recessed lights above the bed was broken. My wife tried to plug in a phone charger and the outlet sparked. This place is an accident waiting to happen. I’d find other options if you could swing it. I typically don’t post negative reviews, but between all of the above and 1 out of 5 working elevators during our stay, this was probably my final time at the Claridge. End of an era. I sincerely hope there are some updates in the future, but I’m realistic and understand that AC is a dying city and I won’t expect much to change. I hope I’m wrong. "

"Check in and checking out was awful to check in there was 25 people standing in line and only 1 person to check folks in checking out was awful too only 1 staff person for the main guests and a whole bunch of talking and walking in the back room was fine "

"Everything from the moment I checked in, to checkout was amazing. Staff was super friendly, our room was clean, the restaurants were great! Also the spa the was great! "

"My room was nice and looking out the window you could see the parking lot and the beach. The staff were very nice and friendly. We ate breakfast at ruby’s pancakes with turkey sausages and eggs with home fries and sausage, it was delicious "

"We stayed here many times. Full kitchen. Electric stove top. Pots, plates and utensils are stocked. Great view of ocean or Atlantic city depending on where the room is situated. There's a balcony. Great value. Full sized fridge. On site pool. Great for families just be cautious with balcony with kids. "
