The private beach is nice to walk on and there are lots of places to sit and enjoy the view. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. "Avenue Inn is an incredible deal. While the exterior is not impressive, the rooms are clean and well appointed. For the low prices they charge, Avenue offers a great deal. And I particularly love the fact that they don't try to make it up through hidden charges. For example, at the front desk they offer $1 cans of Coke and other beverages as long as you pay cash.
