"The Commercial is an old heritage building that has been modernized inside. The furnishings are a bit bare bones, and this unit a fancy "luxury" place, but it has a lot of funky charm. The room was spotless, and the staff were all uniformly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again when visiting Edmonton's Old Strathcona district."

"Great hotel in the heart of Whyte Avenue. I often stay here when travelling for business. It's convenient and accessible. The building is older, so some of the non-renovated rooms reflect that. The front-desk and staff are very friendly and hospitable."

"Spotless but definitely could use some TLC and replacement/upgrading. Called motel a day ahead requesting the quietest room and early check in - very accommodating and I had the best sleep- comfortable bed, temperature and quiet. Exceptional front desk reception! Ash was a most gracious host! Lots of amenities within walking distance- restaurants etc…"
